Important learnings from Ramsay’s COVID-19 Response Team Leader
In March 2020, the Australian Government made a landmark decision to enlist the support of private hospital operators to ensure the nation’s health care system had capacity to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ramsay established two dedicated COVID-19 response teams with a particular focus on maintaining personal protective equipment, organisational readiness, workforce, and resilience.
Our COVID-19 Response Team Leader and Chief Nurse, Dr Bernadette Eather, was named a frontline hero for her exceptional leadership during the pandemic. In the video below, Dr Eather details our experiences and learnings as we transition from the pandemic to endemic phase of COVID-19.
